Exhibition 2019: MPOB International Palm Oil Congress (PIPOC) 2019 (19-21 November 2019 )
MPOB International Palm Oil Congress (PIPOC) 2019 was held on 19-21 November 2019 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. For previous PIPOC 2017, the theme was “Treasuring the past, Charting the future” which show that at that time the palm oil industry still finding their future. So differ from PIPOC 2017, PIPOC 2019 with theme “Balancing Sustainability Pillars” bring up the objectives to find the strategies to make palm oil industry more sustain in future with a strong backbone.
Along the three days of the congress that filled up with conferences and exhibition, Davor Sdn Bhd was welcomed to pay a visit. The conference of PIPOC 2019 covered and discussed various topics that related to the congress theme. In summary at the end of the conference, they discussed the development in agriculture technology towards achieving higher yield and productivity of palm oil, the biotechnology trends, development of biomass and bioenergy as green product and green energy and their impact to the environment, the food safety and quality issues in the innovation and evolution of food technology and the global economic and marketing of palm oil to make it sustain for the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
